SPIRITUAL REALM RESOURCES
The Spiritual Realm is a place that is not fully yet understood. Being a home to many spiritual entities, there is no doubt that the environment there would vary and differ from the Physical Realm. Nevertheless, the Spiritual Realm of the "Rip" provides countless important resources that have never been seen or heard of while also being a reservoir of old mystical minerals and materials that were thought to have once lost. These resources have useful and unique properties that makes them desirable to possess. It goes without saying that the supernatural factions seek out these resources for their own hands. And now it's a race for each faction to stake claims on certain areas of a cave, plains, and other locations that could be found in the Rip. Perhaps it may actually be a matter of time before they start warring each other in the Rip to gain access of these resources and the upper hand against the other factions.
That said, trying to harvest or mine these resources will have a cost. The Rip is full of native inhabitants that are unfamiliar with these newcomers and may actually see them as new sources of food or they are very territorial. Conflict may be unavoidable. It has also been rumored that there are a number of "dungeons" in Golem City where there may actually be treasure waiting to be claimed. There is a sense of adventure in these explorations into the Rip. While the danger is real, the rewards may pay off at the end.
Resources:
Veritas: A green colored material that has been compared to actual Jade. In fact it has been called as "True Jade". The properties of this mineral lies in "passages". It is used to stabilize spells and portals (especially those made to enter the Spiritual Realm). It is also useful in acting against magical barriers and fields when processed. These minerals are commonly found in the Blackheart Mines and sometimes in the Redsand Deserts' grottoes.
Elondite: Metal of stars that takes on a black colored appearance. Within the Spiritual Realm, they are very unstable and are extremely toxic to spiritual entities. As mentioned as star metals, the ores tend to show up in the Physical Realm as falling through the sky like a shooting star. However, due to their unstable nature, they tend to phase into the Spiritual Realm. Many weapons of legendary heroes are said to be made of this material, thus suggesting it is possible to process them into weapons. However, this does mean it must be done quickly and efficiently through magic. That said, it is likely such processing is difficult and dangerous. Raw Elondite is extremely rare outside of the Rip, but Golem City seems to have some reservoirs of it.
Aglaophotis: A light pink flower with anti-Horror and anti-demonic properties and a similar resemblance to a peony. It doesn't seem to have any real holy properties. But every bit of the peony seems to have a painful effect on demons and horrors, as such it's seen as a poison to them of sorts. The Church endeavors to secure such flowers and has recently dubbed them as "Magdalene's Tears". They're commonly acquired within the Weald Forest.
Aeternal Rutile: A transparent crystal mineral that has a negative magical refractive index when formed in appropriate shape - in other words, it serves to focus ambient magical energies into coherent point. This mineral allows Magicians who lack the ability to cast powerful spells to focus weaker spells into a "single point" to have enough power to even match or rival powerful spells. Also found in the Blackheart Mines.
Red Orchid: A red flower similar to an orchid that possesses supernatural healing and purification properties. It's a flower that purifies all forms of toxins and poisons, however, its effectiveness is dependent on how much of its oil is used. It is even capable of healing even some of the most mortal of wounds and even diseases. As such, it is a very expensive and rare flower. It is commonly used in some potions, but most of them only have trace amounts. Mostly found in the Weald Forest and some parts of the Golem City.
Aqua Vitae: A name for liquid mana. It was long thought that Mana was available everywhere in the world through the air where Magicians get manipulate it to cast spells. Now, mana manifests in a liquid form within the "Rip". Liquid mana takes on the form of a transparent blue fluid. Differences can easily be told by just being present in front of it and when it is reactive to the manipulation of spells. This liquid form is only possible within the "Rip", once outside of it, the liquid mana evaporates. As such it requires specific and special containers to store it and then make use of it. Aqua Vitae seems to be found in small streams in the Weald Forest, oasis pools in the Redsand Desert, and some cavern pools within the beaches of the Endless Ocean.
