PSYCHIC INTRODUCTION
Where a Hybrid may be considered the union of man and monster, Psychics are the monsters born of man. ESP, Telepaths, Telekinetics; these are commonly known forms of psychics and what most people attribute to "psychic powers". This is hardly accurate or all-encompassing, but it is the closest to understanding Psychics that humanity has reached. Psychics are perhaps the most frightening of the supernaturals born from humanity because they are the least understood. All sides have attempted to discern the true nature of Psychics and their gifts, but each has reached their own conclusion that directly contradicts the others. Magi believe that Psychics are simply "natural magic users", while Ki Artists believe them to be "unaware channelers", and even still those that delve into the study of hybrids believe the Psychic to be a spiritually-touched hybrid. There has yet to be a universally accepted answer to the Psychic question, but it cannot be denied that they exist.
From what has been observed of Psychics, they are able to wield a unique form of power that is not quite magic nor quite Ki-based. These powers are innate, present in the Psychic from birth and considered as natural a function to them as breathing. Some cause direct interference in the world, such as telekinesis, while others are more subtle such as telepathy. Each Psychic is born with a single power at their core, but with time and practice they may be able to expand it further or develop a supplemental power to their original. Not all Psychics are equal; some are born with a stronger innate power than others, but this is often tied to the nature of the power itself. Those that are strong typically have little room for growth or development, while the weaker psychics demonstrate more potential for improvement.
There is no association unique to Psychics, though long-lasting families and political groups with a prominent psychic heritage may host their own private school or training facility. Many Psychics are single-cases, a rare mutation in an otherwise normal family, but some families have a predisposition to manifesting psychic powers. The actual cause is uncertain, any attempts at research being inconclusive. The seeming randomness of their manifesting, combined with the uncertain nature of their powers, makes it difficult to do reliable case studies on the manifesting of psychic powers. Psychics that do join preexisting organizations are treated with uncertainty if their power is known, but in theory if they can conceal their psychic power as something else they can blend into any other organization.
A Psychic is a unique being, completely human but manifesting a very blatantly inhuman power. To others, this is a source of distrust and caution. To the Psychic though, it brings a different kind of problem. Unlike a Hybrid whose inhuman traits have an obvious source, a Psychic cannot trace their gift to any single origin. What this means for the mentality of the Psychic varies, some thinking they're monsters while others view it as the next step of humanity in this increasingly supernatural world. In the end, only a few things are certain about a Psychic; they exist, they are very much human, and nobody knows how they manifest their powers.

PSYCHIC LIMITATIONS
- Like humans, Psychics are typically bound to F-ranks as their norm and E-rank for peak cases. Rarely does a Psychic's power allow them to amplify their raw abilities beyond this point, but the strength of their ability itself can vary anywhere from E-S rank. That being said, a Psychic can become part of other organizations that may give them tools or training to break this inherently human limitation.
- A Psychic can become a Magician, Ki Artist, or what-have-you like a regular human. While their affinities may not be limited by their psychic ability, their ability will cause them to stand out among their peers if they fail to disguise it as a spell or Ki technique. This can lead to distrust and scrutiny by their peers and superiors.
- Rarely are Psychic powers able to remain consistent across generations if at all; very few Psychics produce Psychic children, and those that do may manifest a completely different power.
- Psychics may only have one Psychic ability to start with. But later down the line they may try to mutating it into something greater upon reaching from C to S ranks. The sooner the mutation, the weaker the mutation. The opposite is true as well.
- All Psychics use Od for their powers.
