"Ahhh..." Melody replied with a somewhat not surprised expression on her face towards Arwen's claims on her organization. She was well aware of the goals of her organization and the things they do but for her, working for the church was nothing more than a "part time" job.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you two then" She leaned back on the chair and placed the book she stabbed before in front of her, this time stabbing it one last time with her two daggers and leaving them in place to pick them up later. "Yes, I work for the Church but that's that. I just work for them" Deep inside Melody didn't really want to dig in or explain herself, she did want to apologize properly and make things as clear as possible without talking too much. In fact, watching those two talk and amuse themselves with books and conversations she didn't understand a single word about was somehow relaxing for her. "You could also say it is my part time job and I would rather leave it there. They give me an order and I follow it but other than that..." She briefly stopped to look at Arwen and then Kursten, then closed her eyes again to continue "I couldn't care a single bit about what they do or believe in~" Melody shrugged feeling a bit of a relief from guilt off her shoulders.

"You can choose to trust me or not. In fact, if you wish to do so... You can also kill me right here if you want to." Melody smiled as she tossed the book with her weapons towards them. Her smile was filled with honesty and the situation she was in wouldn't allow her to defend herself against any kind of attack either. "Just in case, I'm not here trying to prove anything... I was ordered to come here as a punishment but you two are free to ignore me as you wish." She then stretched her arms on the table and laid her head on one of them getting ready for a nap "If you need me for anything just poke me, I'll just... " She couldn't really help but yawn in the middle of her speech "be here.. letting my eyes rest for a bit..." And after that last word, Melody fell asleep in place leaving Arwen and Kursten to do as they pleased afterwards.

This was all starting to get on my increasingly frayed nerves. Here they were, arguing about who's gonna fight or kill who...posturing and preening. Honestly, it seemed this little church girl just didn't -get- it...and Arwen was more than happy to start and increase an argument that just outright shouldn't exist...sighing, I shake my head. "This is all useless...why's there such an argument? Why are people getting confrontational? Just..." I mention turning to Melody. "Let's not do anything melodramatic, alright? We can enjoy a day at the library without causing such annoying misunderstandings, can't we? I just want to study..."

Taking a deep breath, I lick my fangs after I close my mouth, trying to keep my hunger under control...normally after just one day's fasting it wouldn't be too hard, but when I was being aggravated like this, it was always possible that I could screw something up. And that was definitely something I don't want to happen, not when I was getting situated. It'd be very easy for the Guild to drop me like a hot potato, and burn up the goodwill that I enjoyed with Miss Boivin. And then I'd be back to square one, fighting, clawing, desperately clinging just to survival, and not being able to actually accomplish my goals. So I'd be patient, and endure. I wouldn't go back. I couldn't. I won't. Not after I'd just managed to escape, I'd cling to this with all my strength.

"Melody, I believe you're a nice person...and while...I'm not quite sure where you got the ideas you do about us...you seem rather friendly at least. I'll leave you to your nap if you'd like." I shrug. "I'd also be happy to read with you. It's not anything I mind either way. Just...don't jam knives down like that...it's not exactly a surprise that doing something like that would make anyone nervous..." It seemed my words had little effect...or perhaps it did, as Melody simply fell into a nap in place. I rub my forehead, taking a deep breath to steady myself. That was over with, it seemed, and thank heaven for small mercies. People were beginning to start milling about, and while the place we were reading was semi-private, it wasn't like it would avoid detection if people were loud.

Puck

The good-for-nothing Head Admin and Owner of this site. A current college student with useless worry of his near future. He is also someone who just had the idea of bringing up an urban fantasy without its secrecy. Known to many for his love for avocados and Chipotle burritos. He does his best to fulfill his obligations. But beneath all of this, he can be a scathing critic of anything lacking in decency and common sense when it comes to grading profiles. But don't let that hold you back, he'll try to be as reasonable as he can be.

Yami

Either a deity, an eldritch being, or some looney with too much time on his hands. We're honestly not sure which. He's known by many names, Yami, Yams, YamYam, Majin, Snakey, Snakers, Snake, Yambo the Greater and Power, and that one twit who thinks he's a snake deity. What is certain is that Yami is unparalleled in his capacity to confuse, baffle, and generally make a mess of a perfectly rational conversation. His wrath can be placated by goat curry and cheesecake. And don't bring up the U.S. Education system in front of him. Just don't. You won't hear the end of it.

Seii

'The optional rare boss encounter'. Only a sparse few know how to summon him, and as a result causes quite a bit of trouble in his absence! All the same he's more than willing to offer any kind of help he can offer, as long as he's fully manifested. Be aware that his boss parameters are managed by an RNG system programmed by Satan himself. Even further his 'auto-ressurrection' and 'body switch' techniques rival eldritch magic. No one's really sure how exactly Saito managed to recruit this fellow---but it probably involved alot of hacking, jalapeno flavored chips, alcohol, and vyvanse. In that order, directly following the Konami God-Mode Code.

Tulf

The foxy shota gigolo who causes everyone to adore him without even the tiniest bit of effort on his part. For some people, their adoration goes too far. It is to his chagrin that Tulf attempts to strive past his previous image, but cutely fails again and again which brings ever more adoration onto his foxy shota self. Tulf is an outstanding member who has his moments when it comes to working with the rest of the staff, his work on the Mystic Kind Intros are a testament to his hard work. The other rest of his moments requires various means to get him motivated. Especially when it comes to fulfilling masochistic fantasies he fervently believes he doesn't harbor. Treat him well~

Garmr/Weiss

Here to avoid doing something he'll regret due to boredom, the only thing you can really know is that he loves adorable things and yanderes. Let's not even talk about adorable yanderes. Seriously, it'll get creepy. Inexplicably has a tendency to try to act cute and/or grimdark, often failing, but sometimes failing so hard that some end up treating him like a puppy. He insists he isn't. On an ongoing mission to do the least amount of work possible, while claiming all the glory. Most likely to blame for bad ideas and explosions within the site.
