Now that Alexander had some lucky access to his phone, he would see this on the screen. ELIZABETH CRANE HOME MENU
Available Menus:

For Vivian, that was examining the cart, she would find that a series of tracks would lead towards each of the cave paths that were offered to the team. But, upon examining the setting of the tracks, she would find that the furthest right cave was where the current settings were established with the crank cocked back all the way near the flaming cart.
For Ruby, while it was wise to send some of her scouts ahead, she would soon hear the sound of bones snapping between the farthest left and middle caves. The sound of cacophonous haughty laughter can be heard soon after from both paths. Something was coming. Soon, two creatures appeared from the blackness of the tunnels and into the light of the fire. "HA. HA. HA. HA."
ENGAGING COMBAT Rest's Skeletons Left: (2/5 left for now, 2 destroyed. 1 still in the furthest right cave.) :Od: ? Strength: ? Endurance: ? Agility: ? Ability Used: Name: Nemesis Description: The common ability of the Horrors. Because of their completely unnatural existence, they give off an aura that easily cause fear, anxiety, and other such negative emotions on the people around them (except their fellow Horrors). Those affected will take a total of two minus modifiers in their physical stats. This can be resisted by mental-resisting/emotional-resisting abilities or something of Bravery's nature. However, those who are easily sensitive to their environment will also take an additional - modifier. Especially those of elven lineage. The existence of these Horrors can cause some electronics to work improperly or at an inferior quality. Thus, requiring special equipment to deal with them. Rank: E

"That may be true unless said thing was equipped with a nice set of claws and a technique that can punch straight through flesh and bone. I don’t believe whatever did this was in the mood for covering up its tracks much. If it were why not toss everything in the fire?” the demon responded back as his eyes scanned the menu before him. His thumb would hover between the e-mail and notes button. Either one could hold valuable information. He'd give the option a few moments of thought before hitting the e-mail button to see what he could find there first. Maybe if he was lucky he could find a hint there of what was going on and if not he could backtrack to the menu, right? In any case, as he did this he would stand once more as he turn back to the group with the phone in hand as V.V moved to do her own investigation. While it was true that there was smoke in the area and it would become more troublesome the more it built in the area, this was a cave system no? So the smoke had elsewhere to filter unless said paths were sealed with no exit for the dangerous cloud. If that was the case then, it really could be a problem breathing wise, so he could understand the need for hurrying. It seemed only one of the two little ladies was actually working to help them out while the other did nothing more than watch and speak. He wasn’t exactly bothered by that. Honestly, people could do what they want as long as they weren’t bogging down the mission. When the demon heard the question, he would respond easily enough as he kept hunting for information. “A phone belonging to Ms. Elizabeth Crane. Not sure how helpful it is yet,” he would say as he paused in the middle of the scene becoming very quiet and still when two things happened at once. First it was the phone. The screen started to mess up due to some form of interference and following that the sound of bones crushing and laughing came from the left and middle tunnels where their scouts had gone. Odd colored eyes would lock on Amethyst as a small smirk appeared on his face. “It looks like your theory may have been right after all for here they come,” he would tell her as he placed the phone in pocket on the inside of his jacket. He figured keeping the phone close to himself may preserve it for a bit longer for further inspection later. With phone more or less okay for now, he would take in the enemy. There were two of them, both about 30 feet (10 meters) or so away…It would make close combat a bit harder and not exactly knowing what they could do, he had to wonder how wise it was to get close to them. That strange arm of their didn’t look friendly and on top of that he was not feeling the best in their presence…What to do? “It looks like the right tunnel may be our best option; however, it would be rude to leave our guests alone. I’ll take the one to the left,” he would say as he began moving to face off the creature that had come from the left tunnel. As he moved, he would keep track of the distance until he was close enough to charge. Pushing off the ground, he would move towards his target with a good amount speed though a bit hampered by whatever these creatures had done. As he moved forward, his blade was summoned from the darkness to his left hand. As he came into striking range, he'd lower his stance, bring the sword around in a horizontal swing aiming to cut the creature in half starting at waist level. ________________________________________________________________________________ Equipment used:
Name: Snow Fang Rank: E Description: A blade that is pure white with the exception of its black handle that is embedded with strange jewels. The sword itself is about 4 feet from handle to tip, slightly curved and well balanced.

While the art may seem old fashion, the demon finds the movements and techinques of the art to be enjoyable and relaxing. Outside of practicing it for relaxation, he can easily turn what he knows into deadly play on the battlefield. Granted, he still needs a bit more practice to become perfect at it, but still he knows enough to hold his own with the blade. Rank: E

Despite being bogged down a bit by the presence of these creatures, Alexander is taking a test swing to see if physical is actually wise in this case. His swing is aimed at the creature that came out of the left tunnel. > Nemesis is in effect causing minus to the following.

As her investigation turned up exactly the clue she was hoping for, V.V. was quick to wind up her showmanship for the occasion. Ooh, but should she wait to outplay someone all Holmes style, or shout it out here and now? Hrm, it was a conundrum… but, there were lives on the line; so it was probably for the best if she talked now rather than getting too greedy. Self-centred she might be, but she wasn’t ill-intended. ”Hold it! If you wanted to kill us, then you’ve missed a vital opportunity already!” declared the girl suddenly, pointing dramatically in poor Amethyst; ”My investigation’s already handled! The cart came from the right… you can tell by the rail switch! So, that means – whatever the horrors didn’t want found, must have come from there!”Well, one had to at least admire her tenacity; although her sudden conclusion was a bit questionable. ”So, we should totally check the right. See, look; the bad guys are coming from the other two; so they must be missing something down the right. It all matches up, huh? Look, even the sweetheart in the suit agrees!” continued the blonde eagerly as the group’s new antagonists shambled into view. ”O-Oh, bad guys, huh…” grumbled the succubus, recognising the situation for what it was at last – nasty horrors… they made her senses get all gummed up. Heartbreak hung over her head when those things were about… ah, it tasted awful! She couldn’t concentrate like this! ”Alright! Time to fight! If you like fire, I have a very special treat for you – my handiwork is the best there is, you know? It’s perfect, like me!” blabbered on Vivian, unable to help but run her mouth off upon given the chance to show off. To her credit, at least; the lady followed up on her claim; raising a hand in the gesture of a gun in the direction of the left horror. With a small shower of pink sparks, purple fire began to form around her hand – a textbook fireball spell; but clearly of infernal design rather than anything natural. ”C’est heure pour un peu de punition!”With a prideful smirk and a mocking imitation of a firearm’s recoil with her hand; the fireball went sizzling through the air towards its mark – admittedly, V.V. had not really led the target or anything, but given the horrors’ movements so far it was probably a reliable shot all the same. Thankfully, given the infernal fire’s short-lived nature, there wasn’t much chance of V.V. managing to toast any more evidence... though she might just end up distracting poor Amy and Ruby even more with the show. Spell used: Name: Hellfire Incantation: C’est heure pour un peu de punition! Description: Generating a deep purple fireball of infernal fire, this is a rather simple variation of the hellfire used by a variety of demonic and occult beings. Vivian can then either just toss the baseball-to-basketball-sized fireball with explosive effects, or simply shove it straight onto her target – she is unaffected by the flames due to her infernal nature. The fire is very short-lived as it quickly fizzles out without fuel, but it does so because it burns quicker and hotter than regular flames. Rank: E Unit Cost: 4 Mana Type: Infernal Magic

As I was standing with the rest of the group, I could hear the bones of my familiars snapping, and I knew that two of my familiars had died, the last one still intact at least for now. However, what soon followed was definitely something unpleasant, two horrors came out of the tunnels in which my familiars died, looking like insane clowns as they did. Great, not only did they likely have the ability to light things on fire, but they were also insane killer clowns. Suppressing the feeling I felt in my gut as my muscled weakened from their presence I immediately decided that the best course of action was to act as support for now. After all, it was not like I was very specialized in combat as it stood, unlike my sister. Deciding that my blood was best spent enhancing her, as my magic only worked on the undead like myself, my sister, and my skeletons, I sliced my hand open with my dagger and began my incantation in order to enhance my sister's physical prowess, focusing on her strength and her quickness of reflexes. That would likely be my best option in this case, as we vampires were already naturally durable. "שטן של החוזה הראשון שלי, לשמוע את השיחה שלי ושחקנים בשבילי! כוחות שטניים, להחדיר חיים קדוש זה עם כוח ולהביא אותם לנצחון!" I incanted, calling upon izodar's power to strengthen my sister in order to make her able to better fight these monstrosities. After all, the Demon seemed like he was able to handle himself and as for the woman who claimed not to be a succubus...well she seemed at least somewhat competent as a magus, though her fire would have been distracting if it had not been for clearing out my mind earlier. Why did her very existence pretty much have to be an annoyance from her personality all the way to her choice in magecraft? With the spell done, my body quickly knitted the shallow wound I inflicted upon myself to allow the blood to flow more freely to facilitate the spell, and I commanded my familiars to keep a close defense on us. If a hit would be incoming on either myself or my sister, they would get in the way of the hit, intercepting it if possible to spare us from the damage. While my sister likely could handle taking the damage, I did not want to see her hurt, and I probably couldn't take the damage as easily as she could. I kept an eye out for an opening, preparing to move or adapt to the situation as necessary, as I needed. After all, while I was not the most adept at combat, I was not totally without recourse. I had a spell that I could use and an arma sanguinia that might be useful if they werent particularly tough, though I doubted that heavily. It seems we have found ourselves in quite the dilemma once again, mistress.
Indeed we have, Izodar, I hope that we can keep up as we always have, though. It would not do to finally meet our final death right after reuniting with my Soror Percara, now would it?Stats affected Blood: D (20/30) Strength: E- Endurance: E Agility: E-

Purpose. It was what separated brutality from cunning. Despite all that the others were saying, Amethyst was convinced that these unfortunate sods were not merely victims of chance. Of course, in the end, they had been in the wrong place at the wrong time, but they died because they were here. "Yeah, that's... not the best way to explain it." She mumbled as she flung another piece of scrap into the fire. As the flames danced around her offering, she continued in a rather assertive tone. "Doesn't change the fact that it's true! Though you two are right, in that the fire probably was not a part of the plan - no accounting for taste, really. Likely an accident. I would have started with the bodies. There is just something - hypnotic - about the smell of charred flesh." Her lips moved as though she was still speaking, but her voice had wandered off with her thoughts towards memories of a life long gone. "Sorry, where was I?" A nervous giggle marked the end of the hazy visions - just in time for the to hear the redundant assertions from the buxom diva. Was it just an idle joke? Or was it challenge? "W-What do you mean?" Amethyst responded with a single raised eyebrow. "I could still try to murder you, if that's what you want." The playful grin on her lips made it clear that she was joking - the thought hadn't even crossed her mind. She may have been prone to violence, but her beloved sister was among them. Besides, neither the blonde nor Alexander seemed like worthy prey. She had comments regarding heads and mantles ready, but the shambling horrors of the overdue ambush took priority. "Though I might have to wait in line." Typically, Amy would have been smiling excitedly at the thought of exotic prey, but the hunter could only frown as she glanced at the misshapen pair coming out of the tunnels. These creatures did not meet her expectations, and dispatching her sister's lifeless puppets did not win them any more points. She felt her blood boil at the very sight of the horrors toting their one over sized blade arm like a broken doll. It was not fear. It was disgust. These things were - wrong - same as those the abominations that desperate madmen unleashed decades ago. "Bloody hell." The hunter growled through clenched teeth as she stared at the horrors. "Horror clowns. There is something deeply wrong with this city. Ah, present company excluded, of course, sister."On the bright side, she was right. Only the most dangerous minds would model their minions after clowns. Oh and there was also purple fire. Purple fire? Purple fire! The broken laughter of the horrors was soon joined by the sound of her own manic giggles. "Corpses. Clowns. Fire. Corpses. Purple fire!" She cried, turning towards V.V. with an excited grin on her lips. "You can make purple fire! I love you! Make more! Oh. Right. I should help too." Swinging her spear in an arc, she focused her birthright near the closest clown-minion - throwing caution to the wind. Needless to say, she didn't pay much attention to anything but her prey and the promise of a beautiful conflagration. The air shimmered as her blood raised the temperature, which was as much warning anyone was going to get before the imminent explosion. Stats Blood: 10/20 Strength: D+ Endurance: E Agility: E-

It seemed like it was a good thing that this motley crew was willing to get into the action. They needed to as these monstrosities weren't like any normal enemy they likely have faced previously. Even by a Horror's normal standards, there was something very unnatural about these two. Just like their appearance, their very movements would be unnatural. Not so much in speed, yes they were fast, but their bodies would contort from motion almost too freely to be called a living being. The Left Clown would simply duck down to avoid V.V.'s fireball spell while holding up its grotesque blade-like arm to block Alexander's blade. Ruby's explosion would cause it to blast it back into the cave a few meters, as it continued to laugh maniacally without fail. However, it also meant Alexander would also be thrown back from the force as well. Perhaps injured with a few bruises or even disoriented, but it depended on what Alexander will be able to do during that time span. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The Right Clown simply opened its wooden jaw to extend what seemed to be like nozzle. Tongues of fire streamed out of the opening and towards the succubus and the two vampires together to allow them a fiery embrace at the distance of ten meters between them. Even if the skeletons were to guard against it for their masters, they would only serve as slight obstructions causing them to be damaged enough to be in-operational and the flames would only seep through their skeletal frames to reach their masters. But as obstructions, they probably would have decreased the initial damaging potential the flames had before. Alexander listened to the words exchanged quietly before looking towards the smaller girl as she mentioned how hypnotic the scent of burning flesh was. He wasn’t exactly sure how to take that one as he could not disagree more. Sure, burnt flesh and most things related to death wouldn’t make him get sick or weak in the knees like it did to some; however, the demon did have his boundaries when it came to pleasure and discomfort when it came to such bleak things. Perhaps he would’ve said something; however, with rather obnoxious creatures coming in for the fun, the demon didn’t exactly have time to worry about someone else’s sanity. So for the time, he placed the words in the back of his head as he focused on the problem at hand. As he moved, the demon took note that at least himself and the curvy lady agreed that the right path was probably the best path to go to considering the cart came from that way and the skeleton creature that had gone to the right didn’t exactly seem like it had gotten destroyed when it went down that path. Granted, it could’ve wandered so far that he couldn’t hear its demise if something did happen, but at this point that didn’t matter when some laughing creatures were in your face. As he moved for his first attack, he would veer slightly out of the way to give the flames V.V had cast some room to go by. However, the enemy was clever and ducked out of the way. It was even quite fast for something that was literally flopping about as it moved. As his blade made contact with that arm of the creature’s, the demon would push down on the blade in an attempt at first to push the creature back; however, as the little one seemed to have truly lost her mind when she saw the flames, the demon’s initial move would change rather quickly as he felt the temperature of the room area shift. Not good.Yes flames and heat weren't that threatening to him and in fact the pair were something he loved; however, if it was coming as a result of an attack that was another story. Love or not, he did not want to be hit by whatever was causing that. Using instinct, he would shift his position as the pressure from his blade would unexpectedly lift off the other. If the creature was pushing back, then it would find itself off balance as Alexander rolled behind it and staying low kicked it forward. Just in time to meet the blast that followed. Sure, the blast hit them both and knocked the demon head over heels from his crouched position. Even so, the brunt of the blow should’ve gone to the creature he was using as a rather flimsy meat shield. Grunting lightly, the demon would get up from his spot further back in the cave. His clothing was tattered and his body battered as a few fresh cuts bled slighly from his face and hand; however, he could still stand and he didn’t impale himself when he was knocked back, so that was something. While he was hurting the demon, the demon managed to focus as he placed his blade in the ground for a moment as he muttered the words "La terra ti punirà" as energy charged into his hand. With the gathered energy, he would force it into the ground causing the area to tremble slightly before the earth itself was rushing forward to smash into the enemy. As this occurred, he would see from the gloom of the cave flames coming at V.V from some other direction. Heh. It looked like they found the fire starter after all….but why did they behave like puppets? Was there something else controlling them? The behavior didn't seem natural, so where was the summoner if these creatures were being controlled? _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Action:
Alexander performed a quick duck and roll technique that helped him move behind the horror. As he ends the roll, he kicks out at the horror he is behind in an attempt to force it forward and more into the blast. Granted, the blast is quite powerful, so it does push him back and does damages to him. He gets back up however and retaliates with crimson wave. Between the blast and being behind the creature he is hoping the creature is disoriented and cannot dodge the wave that is coming from the tunnel. The creature should be within range despite knock back.
Ability Used:
Name: Crimson Wave Incantation: "La terra ti punirà." Description: Alexander will charge up a bit of energy in his hand before slamming it into the ground. The energy forces the ground upward as a chaotic wall of black energy shoots up and makes a beeline straight for its target traveling about 10 feet (a little over 3 meters) if it doesn’t hit something first. The wall is 6 feet (about 2 meter) high and about 6 feet (about 2 meter) long. If it hits its target, the target suffers from the brutality of the energy that is designed to cut into them. It does E+ damage. Rank: E Cost: 5 Units Type: Slashing

”Waaah, no fair! Boo!” wailed Vivian in frustration as she found her fireball whistling by its target – that wasn’t supposed to happen! They were supposed to be dumb, bad zombies; not… ducky duck ducks! Oh, and that silly vampire didn’t even try and attack! What a pain! Ah, well, at least the crazy one was enthused! Look, she was even fan! ”That’s right, purple fire! It’s beautiful, right? Like me? I know, right?”However, as much as she’d like to interrupt the fight to cheer on her own ego, V.V. was at least attentive enough to recognise that she was about to be fried by a lick of flame – with that in mind, the ‘human’ simply threw herself away from the puppet-like horrors… only to leave her original guise as nothing but mix of ashes scattered on the floor. Instead, the succubus’ true form was revealed, scraping to a stop with a disgruntled huff. ”Ugh… now my clothes are too tight! Honestly, this is already a disaster in my book…” sulked the newfound daemon, tugging uncomfortably at her outfit’s neckline while her tail waved idly in the air behind her; still seemingly nonplussed about the whole combat situation. ”Okay, okay; I’ll try harder this time… don’t jump around or anything, okay?” remarked V.V., waving a finger around in the air as if to try and let it cool off or the like. But, with an idle smirk, she’d get back into position to fire; raising her hand like a gun once again – ”C’est heure pour un peu de punition!” incanted Vivian with her usual pizazz; firing a second fireball at the fire-spewing pest on the right… fight fire with fire, right? Name: Hellfire Incantation: C’est heure pour un peu de punition! It seemed my sister had scored a hit on the creature that the Demon was attacking, and the Demon was making a move on it. This was definitely good, however there was a bigger problem for the two of us that was happening. The other horror that she hadn't hit was attacking us, and it was a good thing that I had set my familiars up to block for us, else we would be in real trouble. It seemed the bloody things shot flame out of their mouths as well as being fast and tough. Deciding that my sister was probably fast enough to get out of the way and realize she was in trouble, I simply gave a yell to her, "Get out of the way, Amy!". After that, I threw myself backward as far as I could, feeling the flame come too close to my skin for comfort and singing my clothes as well as leaving a few very painful burn marks. It would take a while to heal those, as fire was something our vampiric bodies required more time to repair.
Picking myself up from my rather frantic dodge, I put some distance between myself and the horrors, making sure that the people more able to take the punishment were between me and those abominations. With that done, I surveyed the situation, looking for new data. It seemed that I was indeed right about the woman with us, now very obviously in her succubus form now that the going go tough.
How disingenuous, she complained about being called a succubus but indeed was one.
While I would love to make a comment along those lines or talk about it with you, Izodar, now is NOT the time for this.
Very well, mistress.
With that done, I decided that I would at least attempt to contribute to the fight some more, but first I would need to wait for a good opportunity to strike. It was likely too late to take the opportunity my sister made, given my frantic scramble and the lengthy casting time of my spells, but I would keep an eye out for an opening, and as soon as I saw it, I would take a shot at hitting it with my spells. Now all there was to do was be alert until that time came and have the blood ready. With that thought in mind, I pulled my dagger out and cut my palm in advance, letting the blood have an easy way out when I needed to cast.

Given their misshapen grin, these unnatural puppets would have made for poor trophies. However, they had an otherworldly agility and durability that forced Amethyst had to admit that they made excellent prey. The one who had faced the brunt of the party's initial bombardment was blasted back by the explosion - much to her satisfaction - but it did not seem to care. For it continued to echo the laughter of its partner in uncanny unison. Tickled by the thrill of a true challenge after decades of disappointment, Amy added her own manic laughter to the chorus just as her sister cried out.
"Thank you, sister!" She chirped in a singsong tone, as she burst into a sudden sprint. Unlike her sister, Amethyst was far from panicked and her own evasion was more elegant despite not being defensive in nature. She did not actually heed the words of Ruby's warning, having filtered out anything that did not sound like an order by habit, but the concern in her voice made her intentions clear. Thankfully she still managed to avoid the worst of the flames, though her trailing leg was licked by the heat.
It wasn't too bad, or was it? Either way, she was too engrossed in the battle to care at the moment. Honestly speaking, she was too engrossed in the battle to noticed anything. Experience kept her cognizant of the general area where allies and enemies were as well as their projectiles, but she had not noticed the blonde transforming into something with even larger breasts. Though she was vaguely aware that the cave was steadily being drowned in a sea of dancing crimson - and was thoroughly encouraged by the thought.
Having metaphorically smelled blood on the water, Amy ignored the fire-breathing abomination and charged the one in the left tunnel. While she certainly did not notice the damage the man in the suit had taken from the explosion, the hunter was aware that he was also targeting her prey. Acceptable, given the circumstances. Running in parallel to the cracked earth with her spear level, she charged the creature with the intent of driving her spear through its chest - laughing all the way.

The Left Horror certainly had the worst of the damage. While having earlier hit by Amethyst's explosion, the kick by Alexander did a lot to facilitate its knock-back. And to top it off, ebony blasts of energy from the demon was heading towards the clown-ish creature that continued to enjoy itself perhaps way too much. Yet, there was something wrong with it. It felt as if the Horror wasn't hindered mentally from the blow, except being pushed back to increase the distance, perhaps it was evidence of its toughness despite its appearance. It deftly rolled to the right, dodging the Crimson Wave barely. It heard the peals of laughter emanating from Amethyst just as it was getting up. Its torso swayed almost with semi-inhuman grace, as if its entirety was made of fluid-like mesh of glistening flesh. The spear missed its mark as it passed by the left side of the torso harmlessly. Its wiry left arm would attempt to quickly clasp around Amethyst's neck before tightening it into a choking hold and throwing her back towards Alexander. Finding her fire useless and a torching spray heading towards her regardless; the succubus awkwardly tried to tumble aside – since her spell wasn’t channelled, she had the advantage in getting away in a hurry compared to the Horror… err, well, probably; anyway! Tumbling back in a rather undignified fashion, V. V. was predominantly unscathed… though her gorgeously long hair was not looking too good now. Damn, that was really her most vital part, too! And now she was in a real jam… Well, given the situation, it appeared that she was already rather useless. She couldn’t use fire on fire it seemed, and her martial arts weren’t going to be any help when she’d get torched at close range – or just chucked about like her cutesy compatriot… well, it was a good thing she saw that before she got any bright ideas of her own. So, well… erk, she really should have gotten a gun, huh?!The real baby of the group was about as helpful as usual; apparently deciding that now was the time for self-harm… and people complained about her attitude! Sheesh! On the bright side, the charming gentleman was being a grand help. So, there’s that! Awkwardly left without really anything she could do to help, the daemon decided to improvise a little bit – well, with luck, anyway. But, luck was what a spy was all about, right?! It’d be like an action movie! Regaining her composure and confidence, Vivian spun aside to their lovely little crime scene – good thing there were still on the entrance side; or else she’d miss this chance. Given she couldn’t hit the beastie boys herself, the succubus instead gave the mine cart a real good shove… it was a slim chance, but her foes’ shambling gait might make such a projectile viable! With a just a spot of timing, the Mystic Kind attempted to send the thing hurtling down the tracks at the left horror… err, or was it the right? There was that switch, so… well, either’s good!
