At this point, the Amethyst wasn't completely sure of how to react to the fact that her elder sister was still alive. Or perhaps more appropriately, still undead. She wasn't thrilled that her sire was dumping more responsibilities on her and was thus cutting their reunion short, but considered the trivial chore as a blessing in disguise. It would give her time to sort out her thoughts; a single day wasn't enough, given that her past was still a difficult subject to consider. More so alone.
Still, the blonde-haired vampire was visibly relieved upon hearing her sister respond so graciously. Amethyst had hoped for such an answer, but a part of her mind trembled at the possibility of a more complicated answer - basically something that was a long-winded way of saying no. It was a good sign. The decades and undeath did not change Ruby too much. Relief may have been too weak a term, however, as Amy practically tackled her sister into an excited hug. "Thank you, sister!" She cried out excitedly, dropping her phone in the process. "I can't tell you how happy I am to hear you say that!"
Audible laughter was heard from the mobile device a few feet away from them. Taking the interuption that her sire provided as her cue to release Ruby, the clearly flustered younger sister lept towards her phone. Placing it against her ear once more, she playfully rebuked whoever was on the other line. "Mind your own business, will you! Tell the elders that I'll do it, so they should remember their part of the deal." She would continue talking casually - if albeit in an annoyed tone - as she proceeded through the door. With a content smile on her face, she passed through the curtain. Though she quick poked her head through the makeshift barrier once again.
"Uhm... sorry about the door again. I'll try to knock next time" She grinned, before disappearing into the night once more. "See you later, sister."
