FAERIE INTRODUCTION
Most people associate faeries with tiny sparkling pixies whom dart around, sprinkle dust on people and let them flow by thinking happy thoughts. This is not that type of Faerie. Tricksters. Imps. Sociopaths. These are closer to the Faerie as a race. Notorious pranksters, Faerie have very little concern for humans and their silly emotions, and gain endless joy from screwing with them. Faerie very often come across as malicious or cruel, if only because they will hamper and harm humans for no other reason than because they thought it would be funny. However, they are just as likely to help humans for similar reasons, although this seems to be much less common. Regardless of their disposition, Faerie all have a strong sense of fairness, or honor, although this is arguably too strong a word. They are very serious about agreements and pacts they have made, and will always follow them to the letter, regardless of their feelings on it.
Most Faeries seem to originate from Britain, although none of them truly consider this their home. In fact, the Faerie homeland is a sort of pocket area of the Spiritual Realm, the Land of Many Names. Like it's title suggests, there are more names for this place than can be counted, but all Faerie agree it is the home of all Faeries, and where they meet to discuss and socialize. Because of the location of their birthplace, Faerie also have a unique connection to the Spiritual pathways and Ley Lines: In many ways, they are the original inventors, caretakers, and users of these pathways, which is why the Fae Courts are named as such despite the Faeries having relatively minimal involvement with them. While the Fae Courts, whom are by and large not Faeries, not take care and oversee most of the leylines and pathways of the Spirit World, the Faeries still retain what is considered an unhealthy amount of control over them, and it is only deals struck by them eons ago which halts them from interfering with the activities of the Courts using them.
Faeries very rarely actually intermingle with humans: Rather, they do not often live among them. They interact with humans rather regularly, but most humans whom interact with Faeries do not recall the experience, die, or are whisked away to a Faeries lair for whatever fate awaits them. Sometimes these fates are pleasant for the human, often they are not. It is similarly uncommon foe Faerie to seduce humans they find desirable or attractive, although this is not always based on physical attraction more than the whims of the Fae. However, Fae and Human are incapable of bearing children together, so there are no Fae hybrids. Very often Fae will abduct human children though, and raise them as Servants or Guardians, giving them uniquely magical abilities and natures in exchange for manipulating them for the duration of their lives. Usually in the place of abducted children is left a changeling: Temporary familiars in the shape of the child, doomed to die within a few days or months.
Faerie are usually divided into one of two categories: Seelie and Unseelie. Unseelie are those whom are considered "Dark Faeries": They are often notably more viscous or malicious towards humans, and will trick, harm, and kill humans for little more reason than amusement. Seelie Faeries will probably also deceive, maim, and murder humans, but often it is for a reason or offense given, and they do a pretty good job of at least -acting- like the nicer of the two. The primary difference is that Seelie are far more likely to be helpful towards humans without a reason, and will usually only harm them if given reason or cause. Unseelie are more likely to harm humans without reason, and only help humans when given a reason or cause.

Usually this will be simple things, like making themselves appear slightly differently than they do, or making people more open to their suggestions, causing them not to question things, and etc. At Higher ranks the scope, range, and effectiveness of their ability to manipulate the minds of others increases drastically.
Rank: S~E
Name: Flight
Description: The capacity of supernatural beings to fly via physical or magical means; but without the aid of spells. Lower ranks cover basic gliding and simple aerial mobility, while higher ranks allow for high-altitude adjustment and grandiose aerial man oeuvres.
Rank: A~E
Name: Nature Manipulation
Description: As a form of Nature Spirit, Faerie are capable of exerting influence over the area they preside upon: Namely "nature", as referring to plant and animal life. While they have some ability to effect things such as physical elements, their primary method of physical magecraft effects plant or animal life to act as they wish.
Rank: S~E
Name: Pact Makers
Description: Faerie love to strike deals with other races. These Pacts are usually magically binding contracts which tie both parties to an exchange or agreement, binding both parties once the deal is struck. As the rank of this skill increases, the strength of these pacts and those that can be subject to them increases. Note that pacts require "consent" from both sides, but this can often be misconstrued or only vaguely applied as Faerie are infamous at tricking others into these deals.
