THE PLOT
From olden times, myths and legend have served as a pastime to learn moral values and to entertain people from their humdrum lives. Little did they know, the monsters in these stories have always been true. They were merely hidden away from the general public. As these creatures threaten society, many organizations have been created to put a limit on their activities from the shadows. It has worked for many centuries, until on the year of 1945 when the Thule Society and the Nazis have unleashed a floodgate of demons into the world.
The world experienced the turbulent outbreak of demons in every country. Driven by duty and a taste for inhuman blood, these hidden organizations rose into the limelight and saved the world, at least after dealing with the Axis Powers and their supernatural forces. As the threat has been largely neutralized, every human on Earth is now familiar with the existence of monsters and demons that have always been there under their noses.
Fear is the first reaction of many. This led to a mass hysteria to hunt down anything not of human nature. Needless to say, the Masquerade has been blown open and the fears that were tied with it have become realized. Many non-humans have perished. Vampires, werewolves, and even the Magicians have faced near-extinction in those few decades. But, as time has passed and a need to deal with the Demons has increased, humans has stopped their frenzy to think and actually realize they had a common goal. It is during the 60's and 70's that Civil Rights Movements has precipitated soon after this realization in the world. As legislation has passed to accept these non-humans to human society, their numbers have combined to deal with the demons that continue to plague their lands.
Regardless, the Year 1945 Demon Outbreak helped these organizations gain tremendous amounts of political influence as they serve a priceless purpose in controlling or eliminating supernatural activity. Yet, these organizations have developed differing ideologies and have formed their own factions. As such, the threat of factional conflicts are always in the air. But have never been totally waged at the moment as the demons continue to appear on Earth.
Now in 2008, the organizations of the I.A.C.S.B., The Martial Forest Coalition, The Church, and The Guild are the major powers of the world.
But they must always beware. As these creatures may form coalitions of their own to challenge their might and perhaps bring the world to a new form of chaos unseen even from olden times. Many Humans have wished for the supernatural to be reality to put out the humdrum state of their lives. Now, this wish has been granted to them. However, one must remember to be careful what they wish for. You may never know if it will work out well or even badly.
