PERSONAL INFORMATION

Her everyday outfit:
Appearance: Melody is a tall, thin woman who typically wears black skirts, a black dress shirt with a small green tie and white vertical lines and black fingerless gloves. She also always wears a pair of high black stockings for decency's sake along with a pair of black formal shoes to go with her attire. Melody likes to keep her hair short as it's easier to handle for fights or when having a bad night. Her eyes are light blue and her hair is naturally white. She is about 170 cm tall and weights about 52 kgs. Melody's choice for this attire and not one more "Church" oriented was simply because of her view of the Church as a Job more than a life style, and also because with this outfit it's easier for her to blend in with the crowd and conceal her weapons in her sleeves.
Personality: Melody is a simple woman who would much rather enjoy a drink and a book than having to deal with people around her. Her personality in general can be described as aloof. She enjoys staying distant or detached from people and hates when others tries to approach her for anything. People could also say that Melody is reserved but not shy at all, if needed to, she will speak her thoughts out loud without holding back a little bit. Whenever she's communicating with others she likes going straight to the point avoiding unnecessary exchange of words as much as possible. When it comes down to respect, she only holds a minimum amount of respect to her superiors in her job but that's about it. To people on her level she would treat them badly and harshly only so they stop bothering her.
There's no record of Melody ever getting close or sentimentally attached to somebody (be it a male or a female), however she finds such relationships unnecessary and more likely bothersome for her. She believes she's nowhere close to be romantic and being involved with her even if it's an arranged marriage would be extremely annoying. She would often embrace the idea of being alone forever and let potential admirers down with her sharp tongue.
During combat Melody becomes a cold killer machine. She has never expressed fondness towards her teammates nor has she ever used them to fulfill her goals. She has a strong belief that everyone in her team is capable thus they don't need protection, pity, or any warm feelings coming from her. However, if they're in danger or about to die they can always rely on Melody to protect them. She will always protect her team not for their sake but for the mission's sake. Completing the goal and returning alive gives her more credit and respect in the Church than sacrificing her team for her own benefit. Despite Melody's cold personality, there's still some humanity left inside of her enough to keep her from turning into what her Faction despite the most.
History: A Tradition that started with Melody's Grandfather of being spirit hunters always filled their family with honor and fame. The Drakeheart Family was known to be a small group of humans who dedicated their lives to hunt down the evil spirits that threatened the borders of their domains. Melody's Mother following the tradition but to a more extreme state took their whole family into the care of the Church, not only hunting down spirits but also killing anything that was not human or anything that represented a threat for the Church. For years, the Drakeheart Family acted as a mercenary group for the Church. They were allowed to use the Church's insignia for their purge missions and the credits of their success always bestowed to them.
Melody's birth came as expected. Her family didn't want a male heir as it would be easier for them to find her daughter a good husband candidate from the Church than dealing with a boy who might defy their decision later on. Following the Family's first traditions, Melody was taught from a very young age the basics of a hunter, to train her senses and help her become one a day a capable soldier of god. As her training continued her mother would eventually teach her to be obedient, disciplined and loyal to her traditions. Most of these teachings however would be lost deep inside Melody's heart as she would slowly learn what was best for her and ditch away what she didn't like.
Defying her Family's traditions or attempting to fight her Mom's rules only meant a huge punishment for Melody, a punishment that she was not willing to take and acting out as a good girl was by far more convenient. Her Family teachings were not too bad for her either, on one side, she was becoming stronger and independent, on the other she was learning how to control her words and emotions to her own benefit. With time, Melody slowly let most of her feelings go as they only represented a burden for her. She would usually feel more comfortable doing what she was told and speaking only when being spoken to, she was also becoming the ideal daughter that her mother wanted her to be but this was only a show for when the right time came for Melody to reveal herself.
In her nearly adult stage, Melody became more skilled with the daggers. She was able to hold a good fight with her mother and other family members who were always there to help her with her training. She would often injure them during training and put up excuses that she was not paying attention, a good lie that she always used to get away with it. She never grew hatred for her family, however she was not fond of people around her or bossing her around as they pleased, hurting them physically and getting away with it became a sort some of release for her as well as a way to feed her new cold personality.
When Melody turned 18 years old she was already eligible for marriage and also old enough to take on her mother's path in the ways of the Church. She couldn't avoid what was going to happen but she didn't give much head to it either, she was already one of the best "rookie" hunters in her family and she was ready to fight for her freedom. When the news of a possible husband arrived to her home she openly refused it, stating that a husband was not necessary at all in her life and that she was better off on her own. Melody was not only rejecting the idea of an arranged marriage but she also stated that she was cutting ties with her family rules and traditions, she would still join the Church and work for them as she developed a passion for hunting and killing evil spirits however she wouldn't do it for her family, in their name or in any way they wanted her to do so. Her defiance flagged her as an ungrateful child, she wouldn't be allowed to return to her family house, nor eligible as a heir and lastly, she would be forever banished from it. She was also prohibited to use her Family name but in response and as an act of rebelliousness from her she decided to use it anyways.
After leaving her house for good, Melody decided to continue on her training by joining the Church. She didn't share their ideologies or ways of handling their matters but it didn't mean much to her either, for as long as she could improve her combat abilities and get paid for it she wouldn't object against it. For years Melody worked as an Agent and lived peacefully under the care of the Church. It was some sort of the ideal life for her, she got to do what she wanted without being bothered and still getting some income from it. The years passed and her "ideal" life became boring, she was not really a Church committed girl and their life style was very annoying for her. She eventually requested to be transferred and allowed to work on her own. Her destiny was the Lakecrest City, in a small apartment that she had her eyes set on. She gave her word that she would always do her job without question on the Church's behalf for as long as they let her be on her own in the city, doubtful about the request but given her impeccable record of missions she eventually got the permission granted and moved right away. With her life taking a new course now she was a bit anxious of the new experiences she had yet to encounter there.
STATISTICS
Faith: F (10 units)
Strength: F
Endurance: E
Agility: E
LOADOUT
Equipments:
Name: Twin Silver Daggers (Consecrated)
Rank: E
Description: Weapons used by the Church's Hunters. They are usually in the hands of a Clergyman as Apostles have their Holy Relics instead. These weapons are blessed with the holiness of the Lord and are used to deal actual damage on supernatural entities; as most conventional weapons have little effect. Contact with these blessed objects may slow down a vampire's regeneration capabilities and could end their life with a well-placed attack. Melody's favorite and main weapons for their easy mobility and efficiency when it comes to getting the job done. Although not as good as other bigger weapons, their light weight matched with Melody's speed makes up for it with swift and deadly blows against her enemies.
Name: Body Armor
Rank: E
Description: A protective ballistic vest which is worn over the chest and torso; typically bearing the Church’s insignia across the chest in a grandiose manner. While still somewhat tough, it does not mean that they are going to be completely protected from the real monsters in the supernatural world. At best covers the internals and important organs while leaving the limbs unprotected for maximum mobility. As the Church takes pride in being very recognizable and intimidating, this Armour is only used in duties that are acknowledged as especially dangerous by the organisation – they would much rather their work is known as that of the Church’s to the public courtesy of their iconic garb and weaponry; the more blatantly so the better.
Name: Radio
Rank: E
Description: Basic radio assigned to each unit to communicate with the administration and control of the operation. Typically it is designed as a wireless earpiece receiver and microphone combination, but often lower ranking members end up with older generation equipment such as ones that rely on hip-mounted controls and batteries. These radios work off of a variety of radio channels used by the Church, but are able to pick up other channels perfectly fine. Ideally they can pick up transmissions from about 30km around in an urban environment; but in a clear area they can pick up transmissions at a range of around 40km.
Uniforms:
Name: Religious Vesture
Description: A common attire of the Hunters. They commonly wear an overcoat with a hood over less formal vestments for the sake of the work they devote themselves to. Others may wear a cassock and a clerical collar. Females may wear a nun-like attire, instead, of their choice. Many members wear a golden cross necklace around their neck. Body armor is to be worn under their clothes as part of their protection

Description: The capability to use swords, spears, and other melee weapons skilfully; including both sharp and bludgeoning weapons. Rank E would be basic training, while rank D would be an expert – ranks beyond these would be more akin to the stuff of legends of samurai and knights. This is required for every member of the Church in order to use Sacraments/Rites or even Holy Relics.
