Mission Title: Dog Eat Dog
Location: Elkhorn Subway Tunnels
Reward: TBA
Rank: E
Requirements: IACSB members or affiliates.
# of People Allowed: 2-3
Description: Despite the cooperation of the supernatural communities supported by Lakecrest, it is unsurprising that prejudices from around the world between the races involved are still echoed amongst its citizens. However, while these feelings are generally portrayed as being focused between humanity and supernatural beings, there are many conflicts between Mystic Kind instead. While many are simply based on their histories, more recent and typically more serious conflicts are growing from conflicting ideologies and cultural attitudes in recent times.
With the chaos caused by Horrors and many quick assumptions regarding magic users part in the breach into the Horror realm, a local protest group known as the ‘Loup-Libre’ have grown as a particularly violent gang-like faction. Made up of werewolves whom have a propensity for pack-psychology and straight-forward aggression as it is, they believe that vampires should apologise as a whole for their treatment of the Loup-Garou servant race of werewolves; and that all Loup-Garou deserve the right to be free. While the IACSB supports the belief that all Mystic Kind and humans should have the right to choose their ambitions, using violence to force this outcome will only lead to more conflict between the races.
Recently, the Loup-Libre have been mugging and harassing Mystic Kind groups trying to move between Elkhorn and Lakecrest through the subway tunnels; which is growing to be a serious problem given many unfortunate civilians are simply trying to flee from their ruined homes in Elkhorn. Agents are requested to intervene with the group currently camping out in the subway and try and settle the issue peacefully. Responding to this issue with violence could be disastrous, but if things become too serious lethal force is permitted.
Additional Notes: Due to the sensitive nature of this operation in terms of the IACSB’s public relations with the werewolf communities of Lakecrest, try to avoid using racially-charged terminology such as ‘dog’, ‘mutt’ or ‘bitch’.
