PERSONAL INFORMATION
Image:
Appearance: White skinned with Caucasian features commonly found from people native to the Alps, Agent Speculo is 6'0" ft. tall, and weighs about 65 kg. She has green eyes, and dark brown hair, often mistaken for black, long enough to reach past her shoulders, and just that, often worn in a bun-ponytail. Often times displaying the features of her age in her body, as she is a fully grown adult, unmistakable for a teenager or something younger of that sort, with a bearing of irresponsibility about her that would suit someone younger in her cocksure demeanor. Carrying herself with a slouch, unmeasured and non-deliberate gait that's wide in its excess, and an almost constant companion of amusement on her features. Often times sporting a cigarette on her lips, and a bottle of booze in her hands. Her body is built up to be seasoned with exercise, with the musculature reflecting it in the dimensions of her appendages and torso whole, being well fit, and thin, with an athletic build at that. Fat is retained in the body as well, for stamina, as much as many would commonly assume it is an obsolete feature on the body reflecting excess, but nothing too grossly thick as to make her seem an abomination, or possess a bear-like physique much better suited to men, or bears. Or man-bears. Or bear-men.
Naturally, being a member of the Church honed for combat from an early age, Speculo has calluses on her fists, and the tip of her fingers from the rigors that were earned from the trials she was subjected to, up to adulthood. A body honed for combat, that's not immediately obvious. Loose clothing is worn over it, three sizes wider than her usual berth, to better conceal the armaments on her person, consisting of a few attire. Some of which are a business suit, obviously tailored for men, with suspenders worn underneath her business coat and dress shirt, holding it in, as opposed to a belt, which is missing on her person, making said slacks look strangely gravitating around her waist by some unseen force, or merely suspenders, to the average person that uses them, which aren't plentiful in the world. Belt has superceded that need. But as far as it goes, the uniformity of said business suit is mostly a dark blue overall scheme, with the shirt white, and the tie worn around her collar being a tacky pattern of bananas surrounded by a background of red, clip on tie in her case, with the collar worn a bit too loosely. Going far underneath even that, below the layer of her dress shirt, is where she typically wears her body armour. The looseness of her clothes obscures that fact, with an added brown leather long coat worn over it to detract from her overall figure, often left open. She typically keeps her weapons sheathed or holstered on her long coat, underneath, to keep it concealed from view. Training has it that she doesn't reflexively indicate that she is in possession of such armaments, coming about as if naturally unarmed, and hidden enough that even a close scrutinizing glance couldn't discern its whereabouts, unless it was a more thorough search, and yet, accessible enough to her to quickly pull out in the event things get dicey.
The manner of which the Judas Priest talks is in a very relaxed and casual tone, finding no need for decorum or reverence, as suited to someone that needs to give off no vibes that screams out agent. Accented with a Swiss one when speaking English, but on the more vague German side. Her German on the other hand is quite reflective of the Cantons she comes from, and would be, to the astute ears, obvious as to indicate her origins to fellow German speakers. Overall, her aura is that of a sleazebag, or a lazy ass, or perhaps something of that synonymous context. It is farthest from something positive, and nearest to something negative. A far cry from the image of a calm, cool, collected spy that Bond films have come to portray as the epitome of culture and elegance.
Personality: Agent Speculo has been groomed in mind to apply notions that would dissuade people from thinking of her as a person of the Church. So impassioned, and so vivid were those notions, that she took them to heart during her training. The entailing result is to be someone farthest from the common perception of the Ecclesiarchy, and that's of someone irresponsible, careless, and in some regards, vulgar. Not the zealous priest that would mete out punishments in one hand, and quote psalms on the other hand, but of a person that would be seen as the type who would get in trouble with loan sharks for not paying back debts, or forgetting to lock the door at night time when all the roommates are asleep. That sort of thing. As far as her instructors were concerned, she was successful enough to convey that image, but they were unimpressed by the fact that they taught her a bad habit that took much effort to make her unlearn, or at least malleable enough to assume another persona.
In that sense, internally, she is a very reverential individual that gives proper respects to traditions, but goes out of her way to make it unapparent, or opposite of it. The Church was the world to her, the life she grew up with, and being glad about it, she would loyally serve the cause. But she also learnt in the two assignments that took place, that the truth of the matter was, the values the Church taught, such as honesty, integrity, and a pious heart are not ideal in that situation, in fact, farthest from it, in being counter-productive. It soured her views on the world, and the later adjustments that must be made as a Judas Agent, to be as dirty as the enemy they fight, if not even filthier. It would be a sacrifice she is glad to make, but often times makes her question about the vision of their leaders, after also being a part of some seedier underbelly of the 'other' world, one consisting of supernaturals, if they are truly as evil as they are made out to be. Which is why she became ultimately detached, keeping the idea of business and pleasure being distinct, in that there is no room for pleasure in her life, but merely business. It would be easier to sleep that way, when she doesn't cherish friendships made under cover, or house true loyalties. But that tends to confuse her priorities, as she seems to be muddled on what her true persona should be, when back home, among peers. A conundrum she cannot counsel herself with, unknowing of who she truly is besides a shadow that keeps the world squeaky clean, and working nicely enough.
Typically, her personality is that of a loose person, easy going and relaxed, as far as she wants to portray it, with a lot of vices that in no way she could be pious. Oh no, farthest from it. Taking to the drink and smoking alike to keep up her little masquerade, as she wages a personal war on the dark with her own darkness. Seeming affable, as awkward as it is for her, with others whom she has no intentions of getting truly close with, and keeping that guilt of hers from surfacing by admission of it being the right thing, even though it doesn't feel right. That's the kind of person Speculo is.
History: How does one usually become a member of the much dreaded Judas' Order? There are many ways, most of them requiring wholehearted dedication to their mindset, which would often help if joined in much sooner than later, lest it would be undone by Church dogma and zealotry. An open mind would serve them best, for those that are the hounds of the Church that prowl in darkness and shadows. Agent Speculo's was a case where she was an orphaned child of a Swiss Papal Guard, whom was taken in by the Church at an early age in childhood, lest she was left out to fend for the wolves by some caretakers, and instated into the Judas' Order as one of the potential candidates to train in their methodology and doctrines. All of which ideal in the case that she was too young to have picked up any particular ideology which would prove a detriment to the job, and also twicefold that she would be under the mercy of her caretakers. Grim faced priests that were sullied at hand with jaded cynicism, and finesse over the finer aspects of subtlety and skulduggery, they were to be the teachers to the young and impressionable youth, whom would instill a sense of discipline that to this day, is maintained through a contradicting front of laissez faire sleazy regard for it. To diminish those aspects and have their auras shrunken to be relatively mundane.
The training went on, spanning for years, as concepts such as theology, as much as killing beasts, be they man or monstrous, were included as a part of the physical regimen. To instinctively always aim for weak spots, and always to fight dirty. In a world that humanity is dominant, and yet relatively weak in regards to their own potential, humbles the average monster hunter, knowing that they are outmatched by those more cunning, stronger, and faster than them, and yet, it is numbers, and tactics alone that stave off innumerable hordes that prowl in the night. Such was the teachings rendered unto Speculo, whom been Baptised into that name as her own was sealed away, a show of devotion and oath making, so to become one without an identity but that most convenient. To Speculo, it was mostly ceremonial, and not something taken into heart exactly. It goes to show how training was treated -- all spiritual aspects were revered, but not taken to heart as serious enough to get in the way of pragmatism, and that's how it was. Some of which espoused the usage of heretical measures if it meant the target could be killed only by such means, with the Judas' Order being allowed such means aside from Inquisitors as a result.
This was the responsibility, burden, curse, blessing, and privilege of the Judas' Order's members. To be in the shadows, to grow up learning the will of the Chuch, and yet, in spite of the theology's teachings, to go on the contrary and do the dirty deeds that requires them to stain their hands in blood, be it of innocents, or of the guilty. There was no such thing as innocence after all, but merely varying degrees of guilt. That was impressed on her, as throughout the years, with some dour gallow's humour of interaction among the Acolytes, and their Teachers, gaining a sense of camaradarie with her class group. Not particularly interacting with outsiders, as they became a tight knit clique of sorts, strange to others that occasionally would find themselves conversing with any of their numbers, farthest from the idea of what is proper for how a Christian should act.
It would be at the age of 20, when she concluded her training, at the very least, enough to qualify Sigi to go into the world to begin her first mission, did she first taste the bitter medicine of defeat, and almost death. A proof rendered from a scar, and a nascent fear from Dryads, as it would seem the Church had sent agents into a wild life preserve to remove this affront from being so close to one of their buildings, that took to nesting there. The Dryad intermingled with the populace, and seemed to have it good with the community, hence the need for assassins than Inquisitors whom would no doubt blow this out of proportions with their high profile presence. The end result was a senior agent dead, Speculo grievously wounded, and another two agents also wounded, albeit on a lesser scale, with the Dryad reduced to ashes, her remains spread into the air, and her effects confiscated. There was a commendation involved for the participants, and a good word for their performance under duress of unexpected circumstances, and arisen difficulties, with another for Speculo for sustaining wounds in the line of duty. Though, what was confiscated were questionable 'hazardous' materials that were best left unsaid to the sanity of all those involved, as a Bishop was delighted with such an addition in the evidence locker. Nonetheless, it was a job well done, and Sigi was christened a full member of the Judas' Order, albeit as a beginning rank.
The rest of her missions were carried out with a far ranging number of them, in varied amounts, yet not in the same volume as a seasoned Page would have it. More often than not, she spent her days behind the desk, compiling reports, and carrying out secretarial duties for a spymaster in Germany. An especially needed duty, with the suspicion that has been meted out to the defeated Third Reich, and the reformed zones that fell under many spheres of influence. It was only recently, at the age of 25, she was released out into an operational capacity, after deemed sufficiently inured to the idea of planning, and strategizing for success. To Sigi, this was just a start of enjoying herself in some good bout of cutthroat fun, after long years spent more at desk work, than at field work.
STATISTICS
Faith: F. (10 units) (Her faith, it's been found lacking by some dark robed individuals with a breathing disorder.)
Strength: F.
Endurance: F.
Agility: E.
LOADOUT
Equipments:
Name: Body Armour.
Rank: E
Description: A nice armour that's not only there to prevent bullets from making new orifices in the wearer's body, but also makes for a fashionable tacticool accessory, to those that care about that sort of thing. Modified so not to be all about someone's face about her true allegiance, and often worn underneath her clothes. Has no markings, and is rather form fitting, capable of stopping rifle rounds, but more suited for pistol rounds.
Name: Radio.
Rank: E
Description: It's a radio. It receives audio from speakers with similar devices, transmitting voices from long distances away. To the uneducated though, it's a magical device which has a fairy that talks to a person, and tells them to kill things. Apparently it's one of the smaller and more modern variants of radios, which means it doesn't come in huge bulky sizes, but small, handheld, with its own ear piece for discreet communication and hearing. Speculo got lucky and received the newer versions, as opposed to the older ones. Rumour has it, she managed to coerce her superior through some long arduous quest of some sort involving an orphanage, two kids named Timmy, and a rubber glove. Details are best left unsaid.
Name: Funeral Nails (Bayonets).
Rank: E
Description: Bayonets which are more akin to short swords, as standard designs go. They have sharp pointy edges that can cut skin if one isn't careful. Said to have caused a fatality in the Church when a priest used it to shave, only ending up cutting his throat. Sigi thankfully has no need for such a thing known as shaving, for her face anyways. The bayonets are from a famed design, once used by a Scottish Judas priest known for slugging it out with vampires, the very same brand of them Speculo uses, with similar enough handles and guards. She keeps 20 of them on her person, often producing them out of her sleeves immediately, as it is unknown where she actually stores them. 4th dimension is a possibility, another is merely Bible pages lining up her sleeves. She has a few back up ones hidden inside her orifices in the event her sleeves are ripped out, and a few more elsewhere. But most of them are in her sleeves. The metal itself is consecrated, with a bigger idea of overkill to do with silver plating for the blade itself, as opposed to its primary component being silver.
Name: Holy Water Grenade.
Rank: E
Description: Upon counting to three, with the pin being pulled, the grenade can be loosed at an enemy, as beholden by Saint Attila, and explode in their general vicinity, where they shall lament for their blasphemy with the holy water dousing them thus. Or pain, lament from the pain that comes from consecrated water. It's infamous for its unreliability, and seems to be more akin to a Schrodinger's bomb, with some odds of failing than not. Sigi uses it to burn any supernaturals upon the expulsion of water, and also make coconut sounds when the appropriate need arises whilst traveling.
Uniforms:
Name: Religious Vesture.
Description: If the need EVER arises that Speculo has to wear a uniform, it'd be a typical nun's outfit with a silver cross worn on her person. Though otherwise, the clothing just gathers dust in some forgotten cabinet somewhere, and seems to only be taken out when she's acting in an overt role as a Church Agent, or in ceremonial events. It's modified to have normal loafers instead of heels, with two side slits in the event agility is required, with very high black stockings for decency's sake.
CAPABILITIES
Skills:
Name: Melee Weaponry (Archangel's Iron Wings)
Description: The basic Special Fighting Style of the Church that focuses on the use of Funeral Nails of the basic forms of the red cross hilt rapiers and the elaborate hilt bayonets. Nearly all of the Church knows this style. It has an unique focus of throwing techniques and even melee combat by wielding a number of the nails in each space of their fingers like a claw. While wielding them in such a manner, it almost seems as if they had wings. Thus, the name.
Rank: E
Name: Stealth
Description: The capacity to be clandestine. To reach a goal or destination without anyone noticing. The skill to lower what presence the body may possess. A required skill for thieves, infiltrators, and assassins.
Rank: E
Name: Dual-Wielding (Melee)
Description: The skill of using two weapons and possessing enough familiarity of using both hands at the same time. Such skills allow the user to have more options in combat.
Rank: E
Abilities:
Name: Sixth Sense
Description: The natural talent to sense danger through various sensory details no matter how small. This may come from having a form of "Sixth Sense", intuition, or other senses.
Rank: E
Name: Mental Strength
Description: The capacity of one's ability to resist mental interferences. It should not be confused with Bravery as that ability is more focused on persevering through fear. Where fear could still be a factor in which this ability may not be able to cope with.
Rank: E
Name: Faith
Description: The point where one's Faith can be realized through the Church's Sacraments, Rites, and other means of combating the supernatural through the Church's way. While not exactly mirroring a member's actual "faith", it is a quality that gives them power that can be harnessed. This is required for every member of the Church in order to use Sacraments/Rites or even Holy Relics.
